Don’t be alarmed on Friday when you see police and emergency vehicles surrounding the Upper Township Elementary School. Emergency management officials in Upper Township are conducting a full-scale, active shooter drill that includes sirens and a change in traffic patterns at the school and the surrounding neighborhood. The 3 1/2 hour drill will include the N.J. State Police, and fire, rescue and emergency personnel from local and county agencies. The school will be closed for the day.
