Soon you will no longer be allowed to smoke on any New Jersey beach. The New Jersey Assembly approved a bill on Thursday that would eliminate smoking at all public parks and beaches in the Garden State. The bill was approved overwhelmingly with only seven no votes and four abstentions. New Jersey already has a smoking ban in place in indoor public places. Offenders could face a fine of $250 for the first offense, and $500 for a second offense.
