The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating 11 different instances of laser pointers being used towards commercial flights over New Jersey on Wednesday night. The FAA said 11 flights said they had laser pointers used at them the one night alone and across the state from near Newark to Ocean City. The FAA said on average they get about 11 of these reports in a day nationwide, not in one state alone.
