An electronic dance music festival event in Atlantic City scheduled for later this month has been cancelled. City officials announced that the event scheduled for the weekend of September 24th was scrubbed after businesses near Arkansas Avenue put up great resistance to the event being held in their neighborhood. Mayor Don Guardian says last year’s event exceeded the city’s expectations.
