The fire that gutted a surf shop on the Ocean City Boardwalk last weekend was electrical in nature. Authorities say an electrical device caused a fire at the 7th Street Surf Shop that destroyed the shop on Saturday night. Several fire crews battled the smoke and flames for about an hour Saturday night; there were no injuries as a result of the fire.
