ELECTION RESULTS FOR SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS

Some Cape May County communities held contested school board elections. In Middle Township, Burgess Hamer, George DeLollis, and Calvin Back all won seats to the board over Leon Wagner and James Sweitzer, Jr. In Ocean City, there were four people running for three seats, Raymond Clark, Brenda Moiso, and Henry Lloyd Hayes III all took home victories. Will Morey and Lisa Fitzpatrick won the two seats up for grabs in Wildwood Crest over Brian Cunniff. Avalon featured three people for two seats, with John Richardson and Kimberly Schiela winning. Stone Harbor and a one-on-one race and John McAllister won big. Donald Jenkins, Manuel Gonzalez, and Melissa Rodriguez were the winners in Woodbine. West Wildwood’s winner is among write in votes, the remaining elections were uncontested.
