After all hoopla and millions of dollars spent on this year’s campaign, Election Day 2012 has finally arrived. The polls in New Jersey will be open from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. as voters not only choose a new U.S. President and Congress, but many local offices and and school board candidates as well. Due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy, anyone can request an absentee ballot on Tuesday, to be returned to their local Board of Elections office by 9 p.m. Ballots can also be faxed or e-mailed to the county clerk by 8 p.m. Election results will be carried live on 98.7 The Coast beginning at 8 p.m.
