A 90 year old man was killed during a motor vehicle accident in Somers Point on Friday night. Police say Frank Bendel of Moorestown was looking for his parked car when he tried to cross Mays Landing Road and was struck by another vehicle. The accident occurred shortly after 8:30pm near the Crab Trap Restaurant. The vehicle that struck Bendel was driven by 60 year old Stephen Klug of Turnersville; no charges have yet been filed against Klug.
