EHT MAN CLEARED OF VEHICULAR HOMICIDE

On Wednesday a jury acquitted William Simkins, Jr. of vehicular homicide in a crash that killed a teenager on a bike in 2010. However, a guilty verdict was returned for leaving the scene of a fatal accident. Simkin’s bail was revoked and the 33 year-old Simkins was jailed until he is sentenced on October 12th. Simkins was accused of chasing down three teens after they allegedly kicked the mirror of his mother’s parked car.
