Egg Harbor Township Police have advised their community about so-called distraction thefts near the ShopRite supermarket. Police in Egg Harbor Township say individuals speak a foreign language to people to distract them while another person steals a wallet or purse. Police have also warned the community about increased numbers of automobile thefts.
