A DWI checkpoint in Egg Harbor Township netted a number of arrests. Police say the checkpoint took place on the Black Horse Pike on Sept. 7. As a result of the checkpoint 3 drivers were arrested for driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, 3 vehicles were towed for John’s Law, 1 driver was arrested for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and one passenger was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Officers issued 51 motor vehicle tickets during this detail.
