ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MEETING HOSTED BY SENATOR VAN DREW

The heads of the five area college presidents were in Cumberland County on Friday to discuss how to help job growth. Senator Jeff Van Drew is heading up the group to look at jobs in the 1st District. South Jersey doesn’t get the resources that North Jersey has and it was discussed that more has to be done down here to succeed. Van Drew said that the group will continue to meet and recommendations will be made about what legislation could be produced to help economic development.
