The United States Geological Survey has confirmed that a Magnitude 2.5 earthquake occurred at 3:41 a.m. in northern New Jersey on Friday. The earthquake was centered about 2 miles north of Bernardsville in Somerset County. To this point, authorities say there have not been any reports of injuries or damage to any homes.
