The Philadelphia Eagles have signed defensive end Trent Cole to a contract that will keep him in Eagles’ green through the 2017 season. NFL.com reports that Cole has been signed to a contract extension that will run for the next five seasons. Cole has had nine sacks each of the past five seasons for the Eagles. So far, Philadelphia has not been active in free agency.
