E.H.T. MOTORCYCLIST DIES AFTER BEING STRUCK BY CAR

On Saturday evening a 44 year-old motorcyclist from Egg Harbor Township was killed in an accident with a car in Hamilton Township. The victim was identified by Hamilton Township Police as Scott Smith, who died from injuries suffered in the collision that occurred on West Jersey Avenue. According to police, Smith was traveling westbound on his Suzuki motorcycle when an eastbound driver made a left turn in front of the motorcycle at Victoria Drive. The driver of the car, 86 year-old Dominic Zambello of Mays Landing, was taken to the emergency room with minor injuries. Smith was later pronounced dead at an Atlantic City hospital. The accident is under investigation and no charges have been filed.
