A 38 year-old Egg Harbor Township man was struck and killed Wednesday night in the middle of the Black Horse Pike in West Atlantic City. Police said that Richard Hernandez was walking in the middle of the roadway at about 9:30 p.m. when he was hit by a car driven by 22 year-old Ernesha Miranda of Atlantic City. Hernandez was treated at the scene, taken to a local hospital and later died of his injuries. Police are continuing to investigate the accident that occurred in the area of Fox Place.
