DWI CRASH, VEHICLE HITS UTILITY POLE

A single-vehicle roll-over accident occurred on Tuesday when a vehicle hit a utility pole. Middle Township Police say the incident took place just prior to midnight. The crash took place on CR 609 in the Crest Haven section of the township. Rodger Campbell, 50, of Philadelphia, PA was the driver. Campbell was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center ER for treatment of possible internal injuries as a result of the crash.  Because Campbell was suspected of driving while intoxicated, a legal blood kit was drawn at the hospital for evidence and he was charged with DWI.  Several summonses were issued.
