DWI CHARGE STEMS FROM HIT-AND-RUN

A hit and run crash ended with police discovering a driver was under the influence. Hamilton Township Police responded to County Route 552 and Pittsburg Ave. on Monday afternoon. Brian Waechter, of Bridgeton was eventually charged with driving while intoxicated, with additional charges pending. The victim, Sonya Ivanovs, of Millville, was wearing a seat belt and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
