On Friday the 44th Annual Dutch Hoffman Memorial Lifeguard Championships will be held in Wildwood. Margate City, the 2012 champs, will defend their title against 14 other teams from South Jersey on the Lincoln Avenue beach at 6:30 p.m. The Longport and Atlantic City beach patrols tied for second place in last year’s competition.
