DUNE PROJECT IN AVALON COMPLETED

A dune project has been completed in the Borough of Avalon. The borough brought in 30,000 cubic yards of sand via trucks, through Albrecht and Heun, Inc. to restore dunes that were washed out to sea as a result of the March 12-14 nor’easter. The work between 17th and 22nd streets was completed on Thursday. Borough Public Information Officer Scott Wahl told Coastal Broadcasting that the work was done a few days ahead of schedule.
