DRUNK DRIVER LEADS STATE POLICE DURING CAR CHASE

A long car chase took place on Sunday morning. State Police say the incident involved a drunk driver, who took place on a 16-mile chase. David Mayo of Galloway Township, was being stopped by police near Exit 137. He then took off and police chased him to Exit 153A. Mayo crashed his car at that point, where he was charged with driving while intoxicated, and eluding police. Police say that Mayo only suffered minor injuries.
