DRPA CONSIDERS DELAYING TOLL HIKE

A final decision has not yet been reached to delay a toll hike on major Philadelphia area bridges. The Delaware River Port Authority has been mulling the decision, but has not decided.  The group knows that they will have the money to make it happen, but doesn’t want to create any problems with their credit. An increase is planned in 2011 to move the tolls to $5 from $4. A vote may take place today.
