A total of 12 counties in New Jersey are under a drought watch, but Ocean County is the farthest south it goes. Our tri-county region of Cape May, Cumberland, and Atlantic counties are not under any watch at this time. Rain fall has been light over recent months in the state and the watch has been issued as a result.
