DRIVER TRAPPED IN VEHICLE FOLLOWING EXPRESSWAY CRASH

A male driver of an SUV was trapped inside his vehicle for about an hour following an early Sunday morning accident on the Atlantic City Expressway.  State Police say it happened in the westbound lanes shortly after 5am Sunday in Winslow Township.  The driver lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a maintenance truck parked along the side of the road.  The victim was airlifted to Cooper Hospital in Camden.
