Records indicate that the male driver who died in Sunday’s fatal car crash in Millville had a history of speeding violations, according to N.J. Motor Vehicle records obtained by The Press of Atlantic City. Christopher “CJ” Platt, 22, had been cited for speeding three times in 2012, and his driver’s license was suspended twice in 18 months. Witnesses claim that Platt was driving at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his car, crashing into a vehicle stopped at an intersection driven by Michelle Zenchuck. Platt and Zenchuck were pronounced dead at the scene and 8 year-old Melissa Ann Headley later died of her injuries. At the time of the accident all of Platt’s driving privileges were valid.
