On Wednesday the Wildwood City Commissioners introduced an ordinance to change the way people dress on the boardwalk. The Wildwood Leader reports that the proposed ordinance requires shirts and shoes to be worn on the boardwalk, and banned pants or skirts worn low off the waist. The ordinance states that shoes must be worn on the boardwalk at all times, and a shirt that covers the chest has to be worn after 8 p.m. Pants, skirts, and bathing suit waistlines must also be above the hips. A public hearing on the ordinance and possible adoption will be held on June 12th.
