DOUBLE STABBING OCCURS EARLY WEDNESDAY IN WILDWOOD

Police are investigating a double stabbing that occurred in Wildwood just after 1:00am Wednesday morning. NBC-40 reports that the two stabbings happened within 75 yards of each other. Authorities say one victim with an unknown number of stab wounds was found in the street on West Youngs Avenue near Maxwell Memorial Field. The victim was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, and their condition has not been released. The second stabbing occurred on the 4100 block of Hudson Avenue, and that victim was transported to a local hospital. The report says the two stabbing incidents are related. Authorities are investigating and will release more information as it becomes available.
