DOT & FAA PROPOSE NEW RULES FOR DRONES

The Federal Aviation Administration has proposed new rules for small unmanned aircraft systems, commonly called drones. The FAA proposal addresses height restrictions, operator certification, aircraft registration and marking, and operational limits. The public has 60 days to comment on the regulations, which can be found online at www.reginfo.gov.
