The Dorset Avenue Bridge in Ventnor will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, November 21 for approximately three hours for a manual bridge opening to allow access through the inland waterway for several construction barges heading north for storm reconstruction projects.
Because of some electrical damage from Hurricane Sandy, the Dorset Avenue Bridge can only be opened manually at this time. The county is continuing its work to restore the bridge to normal operations as soon as possible.
