Representatives from American Legion Post #331 (Avalon/Stone Harbor) presented officials from the United States Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May, New Jersey with ten donation checks on Monday morning. The donations will be given to ten Coast Guard families who to help defray their personal expenses during the upcoming holiday season.
Captain William G. Kelly, the Commanding Officer for the center, was on hand to accept the donation from Commander Coyle, Past Commander Al Carusi, and First Vice Commander Ted Ramsey. United States Coast Guard Command Master Chief Dawn Smith coordinated the check presentation with American Legion Post #331.
