As thousands of Atlantic County residents continue to suffer lack of electricity, local officials continue to provide cooling stations and locations for ice and water distribution. On Tuesday from 8am-8pm behind the Hamilton Mall, local residents can get one 40-pound bag of ice and one case of water. All Atlantic County Library branches are open for cooling services, except Mays Landing and EHT. The Northfield City Hall will be open 24 hours to help residents escape the heat. The Atlantic City Race Course is being used to feed and accommodate utility workers who are working around the clock to restore power.
