DISORDERLY MAN ASSAULTS POLICE IN LOWER

A man attacked police officers who were investigating a disorderly person call. Lower Township Police arrested the suspect identified as James J. O’Neill, of Wayne Ave. Wayne was charged with three counts of aggravated assault on a police officer and was transported to the Cape Regional Hospital for evaluation. The incident was reported on Wednesday evening at 11:15 p.m. on the 600 block of Wayne Ave.
