A huge project to bring wind energy offshore of southern New Jersey drew big crowds to a discussion about the topic on Saturday. A meeting was held by the City and Orsted to discuss the project that will establish a wind farm clearly visible from the beaches of Ocean City. Former governor Jim Florio spoke in favor of offshore wind energy at the meeting. Some questioned if the wind farm could be moved further out to sea.
