The discounts for off-peak E-Z Pass use is ending for out-of-state drivers. The New Jersey Turnpike Authority voted to end the discounts for anyone who has an account outside of New Jersey. The change is estimated to bring $16 million extra into the state. The new rates will go into effect July 1 and impact Class 1 and passenger vehicles. They will pay about 34 percent more than in-state account holders.
