The new mayor of Vineland already faces a recall election. The Vineland City Clerk has approved a “notice of intention” that could wind up in the recall of Mayor Ruben Bermudez. A committee formed to recall Bermudez needs over 9,000 signatures in order to place the issue on the ballot. Bermudez has been in the news recently for firing the municipal solicitor without authorization from his city council.
