A massive heart attack has taken a television legend. Dick Clark passed away on Wednesday. Clark is well-known for his annual New Year’s Eve television special, but he had a Wildwood connection. Dick Clark also hosted American Bandstand in Wildwood in 1957. Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano said that Clark used to spin records in Wildwood in the 50’s. Troiano will join the Morning Wake Up on 987 The Coast on Thursday at around 7 a.m. to discuss his memories of Clark.
