DEVELOPING STORY: ONE DEAD AFTER CAR GOES INTO VINELAND LAKE

One man is dead and another was injured after a Ford pickup truck left the roadway in Vineland Thursday night and wound up in a lake.  Police have identified the fatal victim of the accident as Nicholas Sumner of Millville.  Sumner’s pickup left Delsea Drive and crashed through a wooded area before winding up in a pond around 10:30pm on Thursday.  Sumner was 33 years old.  His passenger was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
