DEVELOPING STORY: ACCIDENT ON AVALON BOULEVARD

A motor vehicle accident has shut down Avalon Boulevard in Middle Township Tuesday afternoon.  Police were positioned at both ends of the boulevard, near Route 9 and again near Ocean Drive in Avalon, directing traffic away from the scene.  No word yet of the vehicle involved or any extent of injuries.  When we get further information, we will pass it along.
