Three police officers have been reportedly shot this morning in South Jersey. NBC10 in Philadelphia reports that three officers were shot at the Gloucester Township Police Station this morning. The shootings took place shortly before 6am; the gunman is reportedly not associated with the police department. No word yet if a suspect is in custody. Two officers suffered minor injuries; a third is undergoing surgery at Cooper Hospital.
UPDATE: The Star Ledger reports that the gunman was a prisoner who got his hands on a service weapon; the report says the gunman has been shot and killed.
