DEVELOPING: BODY FOUND IN MIDDLE TOWNSHIP

An investigation is underway into the discovery of a badly decomposed body found this week in Middle Township.  Authorities say the remains of a woman were found along Indian Trial Road in a wooded area behind a home.  The remains were found on Tuesday night, and they have yet to be positively identified by authorities.  Middle Township Police and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office continue their investigation.  No word on how long the body may have been in the wooded area.
