More information has been released into the vehicle that broke through the entrance of a business in Rio Grande. The vehicle driven by Catherine Oney, (55) of Cape May, NJ, was attempting to park in the LeRic Plaza parking lot, when she accidentally pushed the gas pedal instead of the brake, causing the vehicle to strike a yellow safety barrier, elevating the vehicle over the curb and through the front of the Hair Port. The business was closed at the time and as a result of the crash there were no serious injuries. Oney was cited for careless driving.
