DEP GIVES APPROVAL FOR SOLAR PARK IN WILDWOOD

A big hurdle was recently passed by city officials in Wildwood. Mayor Gary DeMarzo informs Coastal Broadcasting that the solar park project in the city received DEP approval. DeMarzo believes that the city will be able to go out to bid during the regularly scheduled meeting today. The solar project is one that DeMarzo believes will pay for itself in the end because of the green energy portion of it. The plans call for 25 acres of a waterfront park, boat ramps, and a green energy initiative.
