DEMS BUDGET PROPOSAL EXPECTED TO BE PASS BOTH HOUSES THURSDAY

A budget proposal that Gov. Chris Christie is likely to veto will be passed through both houses on Thursday. Democrats pushed through the proposal in committee on Tuesday, without a single Republican vote. The budget calls for tax increases to pay for a full $3.1 billion pension payment. Gov. Chris Christie only wanted to put $1.3 billion in the system with his budget proposal.
