A hearing was held in the Assembly over the possible transfer of NJN to WNET in New York. Many Democratic lawmakers were questioning the plan and did not feel adequate news coverage was going to be given to New Jersey by the deal. Treasure Andrew Eristoff told the group that there is no plan B. If the transfer of NJN does not happen by July 1, than the station will go dark. Lawmakers have the ability to veto the exchange.
