DEMOCRATS PROMISE TO FUND PENSION SYSTEM

Democrats in Trenton have their own version of a state budget that includes a $3.1 billion payment to the pension system for public employees.  Lawmakers began discussing details of the budget and democrats say they will fund the pension system with increased taxes on millionaires, and on corporations.  Governor Christie’s proposed budget includes much less funding for the pension system.
