DEMOCRATS PICK SHOBER TO OPPOSE LOBIONDO IN NOVEMBER

U.S. Rep. Frank LoBiondo now knows who he will face in November’s congressional elections. Democrats in South Jersey selected Cassandra Shober of Ventnor to run against the veteran congressman in the fall. Shober received more that 5500 votes than her nearest challenger in the three-way race. Shober finished strong in all counties in the district except Cumberland County, which was won by Viola Hughes, who finished second.
