DEMOCRATS DECRY TRUMP’S VISIT TO GARDEN STATE

Some democratic leaders in the Garden State were not happy about Donald Trump’s visit to New Jersey on Thursday evening.  Senate President Steve Sweeney and other democratic lawmakers say Trump is an intolerant and divisive individual who does not stand up for New Jersey’s values.  About 18 percent of the State’s population is Latino; early in his campaign, Trump called for a wall to be built between the United States and Mexico.
