It was a huge night for the democratic party in the State of New Jersey. Democrats now control 51 of the 80 seats in the Assembly, the biggest majority the party has held since 1979. Democrats made huge gains in the 11th District by winning two seats, and also picked up the seat on our 1st District held by republican Sam Fiocchi, who lost last night. Democrats outnumber republicans in New Jersey by 700,000 voters.
