A North Jersey senator still believes in the “Millionaire’s Tax.” The plan does not have the support of Gov. Chris Christie. State Sen. Shirley Turner has put in the legislation to raise the taxes on households making more than $1 million. The idea is the money would be used to offset other tax cuts or fund other programs. Christie has said over his time in office, no new taxes. The legislature could not get his support on the bill last year.
