DEATH TOLL BELIEVED OVER 1,000 IN JAPAN

Authorities continue to try and sort through the devastation in Japan from a Tsunami and earthquake. New numbers say over 1,000 are believed to have died. The damage is too big to begin to estimate. Water rolled through the countryside, taking cars, homes, and personal possessions with them. The earthquake was measured at a magnitude 8.9. The earthquake for the fifth biggest in the past 100 years.
